I am an art historian with a long career in the hospitality industry. In the early days of my career, I ran a nursery kitchen.  Every day I made food for 30 happy children aged 1-3 years. In addition, I have catered conferences and seminars. From 2011-2015, I was the woman behind the webshop “The Little Black House on Etsy” where I sold Scandinavian pottery from the period 1950-1970, and exported it all over the world. During this period, I also wrote two blogs: one on Scandinavian ceramics (The Little Black House) and one on gardening (A Country Woman´s Diary).

Photography, too, is one of my great passions and my photos have been exhibited in The Valdres Folk Museum (Norway) and have appeared in Groei & Bloei Gardening Magazine (Holland) among others. I have also contributed photos and article text to Ugebladet Søndag and Alt om Have magazines. My blogs and my webshop have been featured in Jyllands-Posten, Boligliv, Isabella, Bolius and Etsy.

My motto is: Lower your sights and keep it simple! Life should be fun, unhurried and filled with special moments shared with those we love.
